From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a stunning, boucle woven in a heavier suiting or medium coating weight. The wool and mohair content lends a rich surface texture and warmth. The weave is organic and irregular giving it great visual interest. While the overall impression of this fabric is a dark mottled charcoal , the yarn-dyed colors include medium gray, light gray and black. It is substantial and opaque, but not bulky, and it has a firmer drape. Make a stunning lined or unlined jacket, coat, suit, winter skirt, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended.
